“Why am I getting a terrible feeling that Trump has no plans for running for a second term. Seems like he plans to put such a wrecking ball to government in his first term that by the time the second term rolls around America will be functioning from a state of emergency with martial law declared and Eric Prince’s (formerly of Blackwater fame) military mercenaries, as an adjunct of the US military, holding empowerment over both local police forces and state National Guard forces.”

What’s scary is pundits on tv and on Twitter are now realistically talking about this as a possibility.

Strong Advice to Democrats

Do not support Trump’s coup attempt at installing a non-Democratically-elected president of Venezuela! You’re only feeding Trump’s mobside ideas about his own presumed presidential powers!

What Happened in Venezuela

From a small populous area of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó originally was elected as an alternate delegate to the National Assembly. He became a full delegate in 2015.

When the leader of his political party was jailed for violent insurrection and ranking members ahead of him fled Venezuela into exile in order to avoid prosecution, Guaidó then became leader of the Assembly due to the fact political parties rotated the Assembly leadership position after each election. In January 2019, it was Guido’s political party’s turn to lead.

This happened after Venezuela’s Supreme Court previously had declared the National Assembly defunct because it defied its Court Order not to swear in several members who had rigged their elections. The Assembly ignored the Court Order.

So Guaidó wasn’t even elected to head what was considered by the Court as an illegal National Assembly!

Next, immediately after President Maduro was sworn into his second term, Guaidó — as a CIA patsy of the Trump Administration and corporate America — self-declared Maduro was elected fraudulently and declared himself as the president of Venezuela.

This is called a coup. If the Venezuelan military had backed Guaidó it would have worked and US oil companies, UK bankers and Canadian gold companies would have been very, very happy.

It’s also called The Theater of The Absurd!
