Was Pontiac Reborn into The Middle East?
Has anyone actually seen this great reborn warrior roaming Syria, Iraq or Libya? Did he ever stop in Bethlehem to pay tribute? Would he, or should he? And would he cry, for others, an endless pain of tears at Jerusalem’s wall? What if Pontiac were a Palestinian?
Does Pontiac’s referenced Lord — from whom the message supposedly is rooted in thankfulness — in reality strut about dangling a golden dollar sign symbol from his neck — much like that of a modern-day championed ring fighter: A new and improved, more powerful American Jesus? How has the symbol for peace, preaching to not commit violence upon another and protecting the land on behalf of nature become an un-manlike thing to do?
Pontiac, today, would see only a continuation of bloodshed. He’d note an absence of the soul as the conscience of today’s conqueror is vanquished due to a want for oil and geopolitical control — to kill and wound for oil in the power of the Lord’s thankfulness!
Indeed, Pontiac got a bad deal when he lived. Today, he’d get even a worse deal. You see, Pontiac is today’s Palestinian!
It’s a pity — due much like the fix in a modern-day wrestling ring — someone like a Pontiac could not become elected as America’s president, perhaps fulfilling a still yet unknown but much-needed prophesy?
Pontiac’s wisdom then was he knew nothing would change, there really wasn’t anything for which to become thankful? With or without the Lord, a crime against humanity then is the same crime against humanity today.
I’m certain the universal spirit of Pontiac remains such that he would have preferred that the Lord’s “thankfulness” would not have turned him into the image of a car running on the blood of oil!
Pontiac’s spirit actually resides within the soul of today’s Palestinian child!
