Media Propaganda — An Imperative Tool of Oligarchy
— Whether justifying America’s military presence and expenditures or pumping pedigreed politicians, oligarch protection propaganda rules!

Below is a small statement on my part, followed by numerous examples of propaganda originating from US media. I’m only a small voice and barely heard … so please spread the word!
By the end of 2003, nearly 70 percent of Americans believed Saddam Hussein had a direct connection to 9/11. Would I be far off to surmise this 70 percent demographic was largely comprised of Trump and Clinton-type voters? Who were the 30 percent? You guessed it, Bernie Sanders-type supporters.
What about Nixon’s drug war? Started entirely for political purposes, during Nixon’s reign there were 200,000 people in jail. Today, one out of every 100 Americans is in jail, one out of every 55 are on probation and 12% of all Americans hold felony convictions. Today, America imprisons more people than any other nation on earth! Most Americans are now are in favor of moving away from the drug war, the resultant increased police state and a harsh system of private imprisonment. Over the years, who mostly opposed this? You guessed it, Bernie Sanders-type thinkers.
When Reagan-Bush began with military build-ups, tax cuts for the wealthy, killing unions, privatizing and deregulating America with Congress legislating more for corporations than for people and American jobs being moved offshore to exploit cheap labor, remember it’s been Bernie Sanders thinkers who’ve been opposing this.
Today, due to much of the above, America is close to ruin. Its now rated a flawed democracy ranking 28th in the world, the 2016 presidential election was rigged, our voting machines are in a pitiful state and big money has perverted national, state and local politics.
Most Americans can’t afford a $500 medical emergency, our middle class has collapsed and poor folk are left to live within a dangerous underground economy. Only half of Americans have retirement plans, minimum wage jobs, which are plentiful, make it impossible to afford housing prices and too people are living doubled and tripled-up, if not homeless.
Take heed, folks. If you do not begin thinking progressively, with insight, not only will America achieve further ruin, but the health of our planet has become endangered. We’ve already done an excellent job destroying the respective cultures of our planet. Why make this worse only so a strong minority can maintain filthy rich status?
Think out of the box, folks and begin supporting not “liberal,” but rather progressive policies. Traditionally liberals have only cherry picked some, not all, progressive ideas and steal them as their own … but mostly work to keep oligarchy intact. Get behind Bernie Sanders for 2020!
It used to be the media was the last defender of the people. Unfortunately, the media has now become a controlling force over people. When Reagan took over there were 50 major media companies. Today, there are only five controlling 90 percent of all media in America. The media no longer covers the news; it controls the news.
Please stop being manipulated!
