Demand New York Governor Cuomo sign NY Senate Bill S6532A!

Astonishingly, the strictest and most unfair voting provision in our nation is in New York!

NY governor Andrew Cuomo has not yet signed Senate Bill S6532A, important voting rights legislation already passed in the New York legislature. The bill would substantially extend the period of time for Independent voters to change political party registration for the NY primary. At present, they must switch on October 11, 2019 for the 2020 primary, nearly a whole year ahead of the election. Unfair, you might think? You bet!

The NY legislature is attempting to repair the strictest election rule in the nation! Why won’t Cuomo sign the bill?

Not signing begs the question:

Is Cuomo, who has endorsed Joe Biden, rigging the NY Democratic Primary to Biden’s favor — and to the detriment of Bernie Sanders and other candidates who might be favored by Independent voters?

Will Cuomo’s chumminess with Biden negatively impact New York’s Independent Voters?

Below is a Status Coup Youtube analysis of Cuomo’s potential dirty trick move, including an interview with a New York State Assemblyman (please click show embed):
