— Stop the fighting now!

- US must release a general statement attesting its willingness to explore multilateral relations and point out it will rely less on its traditional unipolar approach to global politics.
- Ukraine must surrender and the US should announce its intent as peacemaker in concert with the UN & Russia.
- Encourage formation of a Mini-NATO consisting of Russia and Ukraine’s eastern-bordered nations. It will be an organization pledged NAZI-free, to neutrality and intent on improving future communications and negotiations. These nations can also be members of the European Union (EU). Enjoined nations pledge no future military action against Russia. While getting fast-tracked into the EU, the western portion of Ukraine, Zelensky’s government, joins the new Mini-NATO. In doing so, it declares victory to match its declared intended future as a neutral demilitarized nation.
- Mini-NATO joins with UN peacekeepers to create a buffer separating the newly-formed and declared eastern Russian-influenced territories. The newly declared former Ukrainian territories can then vote and determine whether they should be sovereign or autonomous but associated with Russia.
- Once peace becomes established negotiations will begin to determine whether Ukraine will remain a landlocked nation. Let this become an incentive for peace.
Who knows, perhaps in the future more nations will prefer the Mini-NATO given it’ll be less aggressive than the long-established NATO.
