Trump’s “I’m A War President” War for Re-Election
Eight months ago in Steemit.com, I wrote an article entitled “Who’ll Be The Next In Line … For a US War.” An excerpt follows:
So where will Trump’s war be?
I think Trump’s war-brain cabal will pick Venezuela!
Such a war would also help expand the reach of Trump good buddy Eric Prince’s mercenary soldier realm. Lotsa good money can be made for mighty bad reasons!
But the real benefit to a war on Venezuela is Russian or Chinese superpowers won’t interfere with a good ole-fashioned US war in South America, far removed from their direct economic or border-protection interests.
Although the US won’t have useful proxy tools like ISIS, Al Qaeda or SDF-Kurds to help wreck havoc and confusion upon an innocent population, the long-standing drug war within Venezuela’s border nations of Colombia and Brazil certainly will help produce a sufficient US patsy force to help with a war effort on Venezuela. Besides, the US has been planting seeds of discontent in Venezuela since socialist Hugo Chavez was elected president in 1999.

By the way, Democrats won’t oppose this war!
Venezuela’s proven oil reserves are the largest in the world.
Venezuela also has a government the complete opposite to what the US oligarchy would prefer. So while Trump cozies Saudi oil interests, scowls at Iranian oil interests, he knows for certain the US military can outright take Venezuela’s oil while simultaneously pulling off some real good nation-building (the best in the world!) — and serve notice to South American and Latin American nations not to mess with America’s banking and oil interests.
In Trump’s mind, with the UK’s Theresa May by his side, he’ll have Cuba surrounded!
Here’s the bottom line: Does anyone, realistically, think the US will let Venezuela control its own destiny what with a socialist government and a nationalized oil industry no longer utilizing the US petro dollar?
It’s like the old Kinks song: Who’ll Be The Next In Line = Venezuela!

Today, January 23, 2019, the Trump Administration announced a coup against Venezuela’s democratically-elected government. Venezuela responded by breaking off diplomatic relations with the United States. We now sit on the edge of war.
