Democratic Party Leadership Fails!
Functions more as an oligarch protection unit rather than leaders of a political party for people!
Given how horrible Trump has been and remains, Democrats should be at least be holding a 35% voter registration advantage rate and be at least 10 points ahead of the GOPwingers with voter registrations. Presently, however, according to Gallop, Republicans lead Democrats 27% to 26%. This statistic is appalling!
Independents comprise 44% of the electorate and the Democratic leadership is clueless. The DNC seems hellbent creating more closed primaries (where Independents can’t vote, thus locking them out of voting in primaries). Democrats should be doing everything possible to attract Independent voters into the party, especially with Trump now in power.
Below is an earlier chart showing the number of closed primary states, and the second chart is a later one showing an increase with closed primaries. Bernie Sanders, who appealed to seven of 10 Independents in 2016, performs much better in an open primary election. In 2020, closed primaries have gone from 13 to 17!
Regarding states that rely on caucuses, at least four — Nebraska, Idaho, Minnesota, and Colorado — are ditching their caucus format in favor of a primary. This, again, hurts Bernie Sanders who won 12 of 18 caucuses in 2016.
Clearly, the Democratic Party leadership is setting the table so the 2020 election will, like in 2016, become an Oligarch’s Pick! It almost seems like the Democratic leadership is comprised of Kentucky Derby betters sporting ill-placed bets on Maximum Security, the horse that won but lost the mint-julep Derby.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer seems deep in a wet dream belief that Democrats will attract moderate suburban Republicans in order to defeat Trump in 2020, much like he thought Clinton would in 2016.

Well, Trump by firing Comey has pulled off the hat trick. He’s now got the FBI to go with the NSA and the CIA (confirmed cabinet picks). Draw out former Blackwater CEO Eric Prince and his military mercenaries from the swamp and America as a police state becomes even more possible.
It was my contention after they screwed Bernie that the best vote was for Clinton since it would have gotten rid of Trump-Pence and the GOPwinger congress would have both investigated and impeached her. Although no prize, this would have left us with Kaine.
Now the battle lines have been drawn and Independents rule the day with 42 percent of registered voters, Democrats at 28 and Republicans at 25 according to Gallup’s monthly voter survey. A couple of months ago it was Republicans at 28 and Democrats at 25, but Trump hatred and controversy has given the DEMs a tinyhands boost.
Given how Trump has behaved since becoming president, Democrats should at least be at 35% or better. But this will never happen with the Clinton-Obama wing leading the DNC, the party appealing more to donors than to people and with Democrats not being introspective as to how they conducted the 2016 primaries.
Oligarch Protection Unit
America’s two political parties function very much like an Oligarch Protection Unit, meant to preserve America’s Oligarch Enrichment Project. This best explains why congressional approval ratings have been as low as 9% in 2014 and almost always under 20%, according to Gallup.
During the past 100 years, Democrats have had only two great moments where they’ve substantially changed history; one under FDR (New Deal) and the other under JFK (Civil/Voting Rights). Since JFK was shot, Democratic presidents have served only in the role of a back-up quarterback, coming into power only because the GOPwingers became too blatant on war and economic matters — you can’t kill too many people and take all of the money all the time!
Indeed, it’s been an insider game all the way! Ex-CIA chief George HW Bush was the power behind Reagan and then he had his own term. Bill Clinton came on and functioned like a Ripon Society Republican. Then the horror of eights years of Bush-Cheney. Next became Obama-Biden who campaigned as an outsider but, once elected, governed as an insider.
I consider Obama as a caretaker president. He essentially promoted Clinton policies, even having Hillary as secretary of state for four years. Had all gone according to oligarch plan had Clinton won in 2016 and been re-elected in 2020, America would have seen a Bush or a Clinton at the top of the power scheme for 10 of 11 presidential administrations. That’s an oligarchy folks, not a democracy!
2016 was rigged to create an ‘anybody-but-Bernie’ election. Ideally, the oligarchs wanted Clinton but keep in mind a billionaire like Trump will always serve interests of the oligarchy. Under the cover of the intensively-distractive Russiagate, America’s oligarchs have gotten everything they could possibly want with Trump. Indeed, their 2016 bets well-hedged.
In 2020, the table will be set similarly. Multiple straw candidates are in the race in order to dilute the Sanders vote, especially in key states. As described above, the rules have been changed in many states. And now the big insider fish Biden has entered the race as the top party-media favorite. The Oligarch Protection Unit — Clinton, Obama, Pelosi, Schumer and Perez in good standing —has it set up so Biden wins on the first ballot or the party’s super delegates select their insider best on the second ballot. The corporate-owned media will go along!
This way, if the Democrats win the oligarchs win. If Trump is re-elected, the oligarchs still win! The system is set up so the people always lose. This unhealthy for children and other living things and especially for those who live in third world nations rich in mineral resources.
Best Defense Against Oligarchs?
Bernie Sanders should have the wisdom to see through this. The deck is stacked and he’s on a path to get screwed again! Bernie should call for an early conference of true outsider bonafide progressives: Tulsi Gabbard, Andrew Yang and Marianne Williamson.
In effect, these candidates are the Four Musketeers — “all for one and one for all!” Only they can change history! We, the citizenry, require this!
