Censorship Is Our Enemy!
Facebook Bans Zero Hedge
Facebook banning Zero Hedge was wrongful and a blatant example of censorship against anti-establishment political content. The journal often has reported what main media has intentionally failed to report or distorted.
Zero Hedge has been a good source for learning information and inspiring searches for secondary and tertiary sources able to verify what it reports and main media does not. Facebook should be governed in the spirit of friendship, community organization and the pursuit of knowledge. Censoring Zero Hedge is an insult to knowledge and the sharing of ideas helpful to humanity.
This is especially distressing given we now live in an age where America’s media has become monopolized and five corporations control 90% of all content; investigative journalism budgets have been slashed with investigators replaced with Pentagon-CIA plants and ombudsman critics (people watch-dog eye editors) have all been dismissed.
The main media today controls the news; it does not cover the news. Examples on Syria, Yemen, Libya, Crimea-Ukraine,Venezuela, RussiaGate, the 2016 election, the UK- Scripals, the Yellow Vests of France are numerous!
Over the years I’ve not always agreed the Libertarian side (especially on economics) with Zero Hedge, but I’ve appreciated much of what they’ve reported. If you examine the lists below, you’ll discover there are opposite points of view that are recommended — it’s best to know more than just what you, yourself, think so understanding the viewpoints of others in non-agreement is therefore precious.
