America: No-Good, Bad & Ugly

— US pedigreed politicians as chair & vice-chairs of powerful congressional committees show not even a shade of conscience!

Is America slipping? Where is the tv game show Coins for Oligarchy?

Today, the below post (photo included) reappeared in my Facebook Memories. It’s about health care in America and it’s particularly related to the obscene cost of pharmaceutical drugs. It was originally written on January 30, 2018 by Ethan Marquette. Definitely worth the highlight:

>>>”I love my country. But, the one thing we have backwards is our healthcare. As you can see I just spent $807.96 on the one thing that keeps me alive, insulin. These 3 vials last me 30 days. So in February I’ll have to go back and get another round of insulin…. at the same price. I’ll have to keep doing so until I reach my max out of pocket which is $7,000. Keep in mind I DO have health insurance, blue cross and blue shield. Pretty big name. “Healthcare for all” you say, “it will be great and affordable” you say. I literally work a second job to just stay alive!! People that are unemployed and have no health insurance pay much less than I do. We have been using insulin sense (sic) the early 20’s. There’s now over a 500% markup in price. It’s insulin. We’re not injecting tiger blood, ok? This is bullshit and needs to change.”<<<

America is an oligarchy. US presidents and their appointees, members of congress, governors, state legislators and the media function as Oligarch Protection Units (OPUs) in order to preserve and protect America’s oligarchy. The Democratic and Republican Party leaderships function as a good cop/bad cop duo. The GOPwingers always hit hardcore and cruel and then the Dems come in like back-up quarterbacks to mop things up nicely for oligarchy.

Also, see the 2014 Princeton Study on Oligarchy:

This is why a paltry $7.25 minimum wage remains stagnant; and why since the Regan-Bush administration CEO pay rose 1,322% while worker pay rose only 18% with an increase in productivity. These oligarchs are precisely why our middle class has collapsed and The American Dream is no more. The average debt per U.S. adult is at $58,604. Over three-quarters of all US households are in debt. With five percent of the world’s population, the US is the most imprisoning nation in the world as it jails nearly 1/4 of the world’s prisoners, this while 12% of all Americans hold felony convictions.

There is a sound reason why The Occupy America rose to spotlight the 1% vs. 99% and the privilege of the 10% vs. 90%.

More and more Americans are left to fend surviving within an underground economy. They’re left doubled and tripled up in housing, working multiple deadbeat jobs and relying on drug deals that hopefully won’t go bad and hoping to win a scratch ticket or the monthly meat raffle. Educational opportunities are nil since those who did go to college now remain locked into debt. It has become a dog eat dog world for them!

Of course, these are ideal conditions for military recruitment as there still remains a belief one can better themselves by serving in America’s beefed-up military, which is bent on world dominion on behalf of oligarchy.

So What Will You Do About This?

Are you going to continue voting for rightwingers like the Reagans, Bushes and Trumps? Are you going to continue voting for center-rightwingers like the Clintons, Obamas and Bidens? Are you going to continue to vote for the chairs and vice-chairs of the powerful congressional committees who’ll change nothing without the approval of oligarchy?

Or are you finally going to get smart and begin voting for the progressive left, the political environment where FDR and JFK governed? To me, the choice is clear: In America, vote way-left! To do anything else seals doom for the future of our children!
