Aliens Are Better Spies than We — What Do They See?

Perhaps we need a new universal standard for Planet Earth. One predicated on the question: Would we prefer visiting aliens to see humanoids as kind, caring and respectful of neighbors? Or would we prefer they see us at war, greedy, casting people out and acting in strange ways?
If our governmental leaders considered the above when making policy perhaps our world could become rooted into common sense!
