“If a bird is birthed in a barn it is still a bird; not a horse!” — The Saker’s Mother

Born in the Halloween season of 1949 and eventually becoming old enough to conclude things, I reasoned: “A handful of right is more powerful than a handful of might.” I’ve lived accordingly and have employed some artful tricks to beat aging along the way.

Among them, I never got in a ‘duke-it-out’ fight with anyone — but I certainly helped break up a whole lot of ’em. Why do people behave like this?

Before I crossed the 50-Year-Old Bridge, I…

I knew the Russiagate narrative was falsely-born and carried, that Putin and Trump were not in bed together or riding the same horse and that domestic and foreign policy positions of Russia were nowhere near as described in Western media. In fact, what Western media has presented in recent years could well be considered textbook propaganda.

For confirmation, read the writing, research and advocacy of long-time Russian historian and former editor of The Nation magazine, Stephen F. Cohen who recently passed away (RIP). Cohen understood Russia better than anyone in America.

Often I’ve written — based on my own analysis…

An increasingly collapsed middle class together with an ever-widening range of poor folk barely surviving in underground economies — lousy dead-end jobs, petty thievery, drug dealing, gang recruitment, gambling, scratch tickets, food stamp trade-offs, toothless, homeless or living doubled or tripled up in sub-standard housing units — make for tough times for most Americans!

The postcard for America, since JFK was shot, has always been: The rich get richer while the poor get poorer!

LBJ’s follow-up attempt for a War on Poverty never took hold as the stain of GOPwingerism permeated and eventually came to dominate America’s political landscape. Richard…

— Scant US coverage, no follow-up or objective analysis … Is America’s media scholarly reprehensible? You bet!

Background

When Ronald Reagan became president America saw 50 major media companies. Today, there are five media conglomerates controlling 90% of all media, investigative journalism budgets have been severely slashed and all of the once-traditional ombudsman critics have been dismissed.

News is no longer covered. It is controlled and dished out by people born on third base. Today’s editor has essentially become an umpire who makes calls only to further advancement of oligarchy.

Progressives have been shut out of the presidency since JFK was shot!

In a democracy, politicians under the influence of money and political pedigree should become challengeable — Michael Weddle

I write this on Christmas Day: What greater gift can citizens of democracy receive other than the gift of a fair system for elections?

Is the president-elect Donald Trump a bucket of coal? You bet! Was his opponent Hillary Clinton a bucket of coal also? You bet! Most Americans would agree the 2016 presidential election was, at best, a sham — really no gift at all!

Too many voters found themselves…

— America’s policy towards Venezuela called into question

Can any sensible academic or foreign policy expert reasonably justify the US backing Juan Guaidó as the president of Venezuela?

Background

Guaidó, before self-proclaiming himself president, was previously elected by a tiny Venezuelan congressional-like district into what the Venezuelan Supreme Court had ruled was an illegal national assembly. The assembly became illegal when it violated the Court’s Order not to seat several assemblymen due to legal standing. Thus, the Court stripped the legislature of its power.

Wanting to ascertain democracy for Venezuelan citizens a new National Assembly was formed where members were elected into what became known as the Constituent Assembly…

What Wikileaks reported about the DNC and John Podesta emails was a consequence of leaks, not Russian hacks!

It’s time to admit “The Russians Did It” is nothing but cover for Hillary Clinton whose political handlers have invoked a three-pronged damage-control attack strategy: 1) Develop a means to justify losing the 1.2 billion her investors put up for her campaign — why no pay for play. 2) Define a reason to describe her humiliating defeat to Donald Trump — hello fake news! …

Author’s Note: I always wondered why mainstream media didn’t do solid reporting on this issue back when it happened. It certainly was newsworthy and elements of fraud were more than clear at the time. It was later discovered, from Wikileaks-released John Podesta documents, that the USS Iowa veterans event happened at the same time the main media was treating Donald Trump as Hillary Clinton’s “pied piper,” showering Trump with ‘kids gloves’ media treatment and excessive reporting, wanting Trump to break out of the crowded GOPwinger pack of candidates. The belief was Clinton would then easily defeat him in November. Also…

Just think. But for a quirk of fate, the above headline easily could have read: From Reagan to Bush to Clinton to Bush to Clinton to ….

Notwithstanding Obama’s intended role as placeholder president — this while keeping Hillary Clinton in play as Secretary of State — one can better understand how and why we ended up with Trump.

The center politic of America’s belly had become so fat and so opulent with oligarchy that only a far-lefty or a far-righty could change the political dynamic of the US presidency. …

Hint: Who best would eliminate money from politics?

It really is simple when you seriously think about it!

Trumpism [Rightwing]

Adherents include: Q-Anonites, Epoch Times Falun Gong sensationalists, lizard-throated theorists, pot-bellied gun freaks, 5G paranoidistas, antivaxxer alarmists, Gateway Punditeers, NASCAR enthusiasts, hordes of tongue-screaming evangelists and an oddball mix of bikers, wrestlers and UFC fighters — all of whom somehow become inspired by a few of Trump’s millionaire/billionaire golfing buddies. They are led by extremely right-wing pedigreed politicians who support America’s military-media-prison-industrial complex.

Ironically, none of the above could have happened without the precious assistance of the so-called “fake media!”

Bidenism [Center-right]

Adherents include: Techcentric-academic elitists, those with names gracing hospital wings…
